LG Mobile Support Tool

You have to install LGMobile Updater Application before you can download the manual, software or the lastest firmware for your phone. You will not be able to get the latest PC Suite from LG Mobile website unlike Nokia, Sony Ericsson or Samsung.

STEP 1 Country & Language

When you install the Updater application, the Country & Language settings are automatically updated according to the user's PC information.

To change your country, just press Options& Help and select Country & language. Set to your desired country and language.

STEP 2 Manual & Software search

This program searches the manual and software for your phone.

Select “Application, Manual & USB Driver Download…”.

Enter a value for “IMEI/ESN/MEID” or “S/N”, and then click the view button on the right.

The result of search will be displayed.

STEP 3 Manual & Software Download

Download and use the manual & software in the list.

Double-click “Manual” or “software”, which is displayed in File List, and download it to your designated location.
※ N.B.: Make a note of the download location.

DS Games Update August 09

New DS Games launched for the Nintendo DS. Some new games will come with piracy codes and may not work on R4,M3, DSTT and others. You need to hex edit the game to overcome the error. CycloDS Flash Card may work as their firmware as address most of the piracy code issues.

Install WAD Manager on Wii

WAD Manager is an application to install WAD files. You must have the HomeBrew Channel install on your Nintendo Wii before you can install the WAD Manager.

Installation Guide

1. Unzip the files and place it in the root of the SD Card
2. Open HomeBrew Channel on Wii
3. You should see WAD Manager on screen
4. Click on Button A to install the WAD Manager
5. Follow instruction on screen

Installing WAD Files

• Create a folder called “wad” in the root of a SD card
• Place all your wad files in the wad folder
• Run the WAD Manager using HomeBrew
• Enter the WAD Manager
• Click on the WAD files you want to install
• Press the Home Button to reset Wii after installation

Admiralty Primary School Sports Day 09

Admiralty Primary School has held a Sports Day Event on 7 August 2009 for all the students in celebration of the National Day. The event started at 0730am with a welcoming speech and singing the National Anthem. But the school organiser forgot to hook the flag for the flag raising ceremony. A small mistake and lucky there was no MP or Minister on visit.

It was a fun filled event where the children get to participate in the sports event. Parents also joined in the fun together with the teachers, staff and Parent Volunteer of the Schools. Students were happy winning medals and there are also sad students who lost the competition.

Happy National Day all Singaporeans and residents of Singapore.

Off Peak Cars Usage Time

Off Peak Cars population in Singapore is increasing. Many have been attracted by the one-off S$17,000 rebate on their car purchase prices. Road Tax is only S$50 per year compared with normal car whose road tax are more than S$800.

Off Peak Car has restriction on its usage time. You can drive the Off Peak Car freely on Sundays, Public Holidays and during the following non - restricted hours:

Weekdays from  7:00pm to 7.00am
Saturday and Eve of 5 Public Holidays* starting from 3.00pm on wards

*New Year, Lunar New Year, Hari Raya Puasa, Deepavali and Christmas.

You can drive from 3PM on other eve of Holidays also but you need to call up LTA at 1800-CALL LTA(1800-2255582) to confirm. In addition, you can also check whether you can drive on Monday if the Holiday falls on a Sunday.
For example, this year National Day 2009 is on Sunday. The following day which is a Monday is also free for usage without the need for a supplementary licence. 

Supplementary Licence
This licence which cost S$20 allowed you to use your car during restricted hours. So you can actually still use your car within the restricted hours just like normal car. This supplementary licence can be bought at all SingPost Post Office.
