Kindergarden Financial Assistance Scheme

Kindergarden education helps your child prepare for primary school. If you want to place your child in a kindergarden, but cannot afford the fees, you may apply for help under KiFAS. KiFAS is available at eligible non-profit kindergardens. KiFAS subsidises 90%of the monthly fees, up to S$82 per month, whichever is lower. There is also a start-up grant for needy families earning S$1000 or less. A start-up grant of S$200 per child may be provided to help them to pay for their child's registration fee, uniforms and insurance etc at the beginning of the year.
